Prepare Your Artwork for the Best Print Results

Follow these simple guidelines to help ensure your artwork prints clearly, accurately, and at the correct size.

FILE FORMATS

Preferred file formats:
• PDF
• AI
• EPS

Also accepted:
• PSD
• TIFF
• JPG
• PNG

For the best results, we recommend submitting a print-ready PDF whenever possible.

ARTWORK SIZE

Whenever possible, create your artwork at the actual size you want printed (1:1 scale).

For very large-format artwork, scaled files such as 1:2 or 1:10 may be accepted. Please make sure the scale is clearly indicated.

Always double-check the final width and height before uploading your file.

RESOLUTION

For most print products:
• 150–300 DPI at final print size is recommended.

For large-format products such as banners, signs, backdrops, and displays:
• 100–150 DPI at final size is usually sufficient.

Avoid enlarging small or low-resolution images, as this may result in blurry or pixelated printing.

COLOR MODE

CMYK is recommended for print production.

RGB files can usually be accepted, but colors may shift slightly when converted for printing.

Please note that colors displayed on a monitor may not exactly match the final printed product.

BLEED & SAFE AREA

If your artwork contains backgrounds, colors, or images that extend to the edge, include bleed when required by the product.

Keep important text, logos, and design elements inside the safe area and away from trim edges, hems, grommets, or other finishing areas.

Requirements may vary by product.

FONTS & TEXT

Before submitting your artwork:

• Convert fonts to outlines when possible.
• Embed fonts when exporting a PDF.
• Check spelling, phone numbers, addresses, dates, and other important information carefully.

This helps prevent missing fonts or unexpected text changes during production.

TRANSPARENCY & EFFECTS

Flatten complex transparency, shadows, effects, and layers when necessary before exporting your final print file.

For best compatibility, export your finished artwork as a high-quality print-ready PDF.

BEFORE YOU UPLOAD

Please check:

✓ Correct final size
✓ Correct orientation
✓ Sufficient image resolution
✓ Important content inside the safe area
✓ Fonts outlined or embedded
✓ Spelling and contact information
✓ Final artwork is ready to print
